I have decided to look at this music video by Jessie J because she is a personal favourite and I think this particular music video has a simple narrative about a girl getting bullied through school and then when she becomes famous the people who bullied her want to be friends with her. This music video has the typical conventions of pop as the lyrics show how the girl is feeling and the moods she's in an upbeat way which helps the listener to visualise the story of this girl.

Jessie  J uses typical locations and props that portrays a chavy theme but in a mocking way through this video which fits in well with the song. The girls in the class wearing pink Adidas tracksuits and the boys having spiky hair. The chavy dinner lady wearing bright blue eyeshadow and chewing gum, wrapping it round her finger. Jessie J wears gold and glitter in her outfits on every music video which is her brand image in this video she's wearing a cream and black jumpsuit and she always wears bright lipstick.

There is a extreme close up of part of the typical location and then a behind camera shot introducing the main character walking down the corridor, there is also a close up of the other characters after the typical fast montage is used on the main character. The camera moves round so we see the main character walking past the other characters which are portrayed as bullies in this music video. There is typical close ups of the characters singing and the emotions of the main character. The main character then changes into Jessie J and the camera uses typical head and side shots.
