LMFAO - I'm sexy and i know has an ideal niche audience of the club culture and ravers. This song is aimed at mainly women but has a secondary audience of men with an age range of 13- 21. The music video is aimed at all races and all socio economic statuses from A-E. 


Psychographic Profiling

The cross culture characteristics of LMFAO are mainstreamers as they are a well known group and are familiar. LMFAO is aimed at people who have a lifestyle of:  having money, going out partying all the time and clubbing, having fun and being outgoing, being single or in short term relationships, like to holiday in club places such as Ibiza, Malia, being up to date with the latest trend or making your own. 

Maslow Hierarchy has a theory on:
Phycological needs which is just breathing, food, water, sex, sleep, homeostatasis and excretion. 
Safety - Security of the body, employment, morality, family, health and property
Love/Belonging - Friendship, family and sexual intimacy
Esteem - Self - esteem, confidence, achievement, respect for others and respect by others
Self - Actualization - Morality, creativity, spontaneity, problem solving, lack of prejudice, acceptance of facts. 

LMFAO uses this theory to help advertise there music because when women watch there music videos  it boosts there self esteem and it also has the love and friendship theory because people watch it together and talk about it as they have something in common as well as if someone shares there music on the internet e.g. Facebook, twitter there interacting with other people over the artist.
